Large-scale Inference in Finance

Join UQ Fintech and Dr Min Zhu for a brain-stimulating discussion on the increasingly popular subject of large-scale hypothesis testing in financial economics.
This is an open event with no ticket or registration required. Join us for this exclusive presentation on the 13th of October, at 6:30pm at the Steele Building (3) in room 262.

UQ Fintech invites all members to attend the 2022 Annual General Meeting on Monday the 10th of October from 6:30pm.We will be recapping our achievements and events for the years, making constitutional changes and electing our new executive team for the new year.

Who are we?

Established in 2020, UQ Fintech is one of the University of Queensland’s fastest-growing clubs. With over four hundred members, we were recognised as the Science Club of the Year last year.The goal of the society is to develop keen problem-solving students into the next generation of industry problem solvers. To achieve this goal, we provide a wide range of industry-focused events to both give our members a hands-on chance to make authentic industry connections.
